Piñata pinata games

Piñata (15-25 min.)

Needed: Piñata (choose from our wide selection according to
               party theme),
Prizes (choose from our wide selection of favour sets),
Blindfold (cat# 6700),
Piñata stick (cat# 6500),
Wrapped candies.

Fill the piñata with the candies and the prizes till its about half full. Tie a rope to the piñata and hang it from a high place in such a way that it is at roughly the height of the players' heads. Good places to hang it can be tree branches, garage doors, laundry poles, etc.
Line up the players and give the birthday child the first try. Put the blindfold on his eyes, turn him 3 times and position him in front of the piñata. Each player has 3 attempts to hit the piñata and brake it. Make sure that all the other players are far enough so they do not get hit by the piñata stick. After the birthday child has finished his 3 attempts, let the rest of the children try in turns. When the piñata starts to crack open and the prizes and candy start to fall out, let all the players run and grab whatever has fallen out. Make sure at this time that the child with the piñata stick does not continue his swings and does not hit anyone. The game continues till the piñata completely cracks open and all the prizes and candy fall out.

Tips:
1) Fill the piñata up before the party.pinata as party game
2) In rainy days, you can hang it inside the garage.
3) For young children (up to 7), we recommend not to use the blindfold.
4) It's a good idea to give the players party bags before the game starts. This way they have a good place to put all their prizes and candy.
5) With younger children, make sure that everyone gets a prize and candy so they do not have bad feelings.

Pull piñata (10-20 min.)

This game is a gentler version of the piñata game which suits younger children and better fits indoor playing. The piñata has strings, which are pulled, but only one opens a trap door that releases the contents of the piñata.

Needed: Pull piñata (choose from our wide selection),
Prizes (choose from our wide selection of favour sets),
Wrapped candies.

Fill the piñata with the candies and the prizes till its about half full. Tie a rope to the piñata and hang it from a high place in such a way that it is at roughly the height of the players? heads. Good places to hang it can be tree branches, garage doors, laundry poles, etc.
Line up the players and give the birthday child the first try. Each player grabs 1 string and pulls it. After the birthday child has finished, let the rest of the children try in turns. Only one string will open the trap door to release the prizes and candy inside the piñata. When the piñata has opened and the prizes and candy start to fall out, let all the players run and grab whatever has fallen out.

Tips:
1) Fill the piñata up before the party.
2) In rainy days, you can hang it inside the garage.
3) You can tie small prizes to each string to make the game more enjoyable. This way, everyone gets a prize.
4) It?s a good idea to give the players party bags before the game starts. This way they have a good place to put all their prizes and candy.
5) With younger children, you can give each child a string and let them all pull at once. This way, they all have the same opportunity to grab the contents of the piñata. Also, make sure that everyone gets a prize and candy so they do not have bad feelings.
